Our Head Chef Marc Soper is an award winning chef with an impressive CV. Having worked in some of New Zealand’s best restaurants including Partington’s at the Langham and Mollies Boutique hotel in Auckland, Marc headed overseas for a culinary tour around the USA and Europe which included time at the highly regarded Culinary Institute of America, the French Laundry in the Napa Valley and 3 star Michelin restaurant, Residenz Heinz Winkler, in Germany.

After hospitality school in Salzburg I worked in England, Ireland and spent several years perfecting my service skills on cruise ships in Europe. Front of House Manager
What began as a temporary role in Maginnity’s restaurant has transformed into Christo being promoted to the role of Front of House Manager. With international experience in hotels in the UK such as – The SoHo, The Number Sixteen and Covent Garden to name a few, Christo certainly knows what the ultimate guest experience should be and he and his team strive to deliver this every day.
